I’ve been working on “The Kitchen Portraits” for a year and a half. The idea developed because of the kitchen (where the shoots take place) of our current apartment; it has great natural light and it’s a pretty nice size for a kitchen in Brooklyn… a great, white wall sandwiched between two large windows that overlook the BQE. So far, the series has included artists, actors, bartenders, musicians, a Top Chef and a fire performer. This is an ongoing series that will continue as long we live in this apartment.

On February 10th, I had the pleasure of photographing graphic designer / stylist Ladé Ademu-John (again) for “The Kitchen Portraits.” Check out his style blog, Take It Easy, Tiger … it’s definitely worth the bookmark.
